Sonos beam 2 problem
Discussion
Afternoon people
Purchased my Sonos Beam 2 from J Lewis 25 months ago and in the last week I am unable to use the Alexa facility to control it for tunes via Amazon music etc. via my I pad or wife’s I pad.
Have checked all hard connections, and re download the Sonos app, Alexa app and Amazon App
But still the microphone would appear not to be working on the bar.
Out of desperation I returned to J Lewis Poole where I purchased said item in the hope they could offer some constructive suggestion to repair the problem , only to be reminded the fault had originated outside of the 2year warranty , so there was nothing they could do. I fully understand their obligation but all I was after was a contact number for a service centre for Sonos but alas the gentleman behind the Tech desk in store just reinforced there was no number and I would have to contact Sonos directly.
I had previously contacted J Lewis on line tech who angled the fault at Alexa and then phoned Phono tech support in Morocco who admitted it was likely to be the microphone.
So having been pushed pillar to post has anyone got any ideas of a good repair centre in the south
Or any other remedies.
Cheers
