I know nothing about these, or in fact any cameras. Complete dumbo....

I've previously bought a couple of cheapo (£50ish) small black square 'boxes' and have been disappointed with the results. No surprise.

Uses? Skiing, cycling, track days, bedroom hehe notsomuch, but you never know smile

How much do I need to spend?

Recommendations gratefully received. TIA

I have had a couple of cheapo cameras about the £50 mark and agree they leave a lot to be desired - particularly for video. I don't claim to be an expert on alternatives but I've seen a couple of good reviews of the Akaso Brave 7 and the LE version . They are about £140 so I suspect that is the sort of price you need to pay for something half decent.

I've had several generations of GoPro, a couple of which got mounted to the trackday car when I had it.

Now on a Gopro Max which is amazing quality and tech with it 360 photo and video capability.
