Just thought I'd give a bit of a run down. Doing a DIY wedding and needed some sounds for the Isle music, set in a rural location, needed something loud enough and battery powered....also validated an excuse to buy one, it was out of the wedding budget, win. Haha.

Currys ebay had one (as new, box damaged) for £280, take the ebay 20% offer, brought it down to £225 posted.

Christ it's good. More than loud enough for a household/garden gathering, infact, turned up to full wack you would receive noise complaints.

You can play directly via Bluetooth, aux in or in app. In app gives you the ability to adjust an equaliser and fine tune light settings (tbh I'd mostly have the lights off).

Seems to have a pretty impressive bass, on which is essentially an oversized Bluetooth speaker is impressive.

For 90% of applications you wouldn't need any bigger, if you did I'd recommend getting a pair of 110's and pairing them in stereo over a 710.

Only annoying thing is a dipped tone once you hit max volume. It is a bit of a lump, but I recon we'll be able to lose it behind the sofa on a day to day basis.
