LG OLED Worth £ Over Nanocell?
Discussion
Looking to upgrade my Samsung KS8000 65" QLED as it's flickering and despite all efforts I think it's had it. £2k tv thats lasted about 6 years.
I'm looking at another 65" TV and LG come highly recommended and the Nanocell 65NANO766QA 65" seems good value at £799.
Of course, the man maths in me is trying to justify an OLED, but the A2 LG is at £1,299.
Is it really worth the extra? I don't want to drop another £2k on a tv to be honest, I sit about 10ft from the TV so not sure it's worth it.
Open to suggestions though! Must have Optical output.

At 3m, which is where you sit 65 is the right size. I have the C1 (65") and it's brilliant. Paid about £1500 a couple of years ago. The closer you sit the greater the importance to get a good set. The 2023 models have been announced so you may get a 2022 model discounted soon or even a 2021.I'm looking at another 65" TV and LG come highly recommended and the Nanocell 65NANO766QA 65" seems good value at £799.

I think most have optical output and HDMI eARC.
all the good deals seam to be over, 2022 65 C OLEDs were about for £1200
this is a couple of years old so both techs should have improved a bit
