I've had a 42 inch LG tv for 10+ years, but now I've moved house it's looking a little small in the room so am looking at upgrading to a 65 inch.

It's been so long since I've looked at tv's that I'm completely out of the loop as to what to look for but so far I seem to have narrowed it down to these two:
www.lg.com/uk/tvs/lg-oled65c14lb

www.lg.com/uk/tvs/lg-oled65cs6la

Both are the same price on Richer Sounds, both have seemingly the same specs when I compare them on the LG website, and I'm at a bit of a loss as to why two different models are so similar!

If it makes any difference It'll be wall mounted & used for netflix/other streaming TV stuff and an Xbox.

I will be getting a soundbar to go with it (so any recommendations for those too would be a bonus!)

Any thoughts?

C1 is a 2021 model, it's why richer sounds have a further £200 discount if you sign up free for VIP. The CS is the current 2022 model.

Go for the one with the newer evo panel if you can, I think it is the C2.

What ever TV you choose check out HotUKDeals as the CS is available for £1199 and the C2 was £1399 a few days ago. Richer sounds will price match any of these offers.

The c1 can be had for £1400 from Richersounds, and it the better tv compared to the CS. All the later C1 models came with the evo panel, as did the C2, which is the C1s replacement.
If you look on youtube there are loads of videos explaining the differences, and if the C2 is worth the extra money.
I personally have an evo panel C1, and it is excellent.

Thanks for all the help! Just being able to understand the model codes a bit more makes things a bit clearer.

Think I'll be going for the C1 - there are a couple of Richer Sounds that aren't too far away so will give them a ring and see if there are any in stock/on display to have a look at.

Also think about going even bigger, as 75" TVs aren't much more money. We quickly replaced our 65" with a 75" when we realised we could have gone bigger and felt a bit underwhelmed by the step-up from a 42".

Not much more? If we're talking Oled here, 75"+ you can add at least another £1000.

Just to round this out, I bought the LG 65c14lb in the end from Richer Sounds (as they had a great offer on!)

Got it all set up yesterday and I'm really pleased with it - its also bloody massive!

Thanks for all the advice
