I occasionally buy a day pass to Now TV to watch a particular match on Sky Sports.
Is there a way of pausing a live game. Think I've tried and failed.

When you're streaming, there's no way to pause it when using an app in a Freeview or Apple TV box, but you can pause on an iPad.

Thanks, I usually get on my lap top then HDMI to the TV. I have tried once before, briefly, but maybe did it wrong.

It depends what you are watching it on. I have a roku and can pause for up to 30 minutes. The App on my LG doesn't let you.

The answer is no, I use a lap top and HDMI it to the TV,no option to live pause.
