Recomendations for in wall surround sound options
Discussion
Hi all
looking for some inspiration and recommendations for an in wall surround sound solution.
I'm currently gutting a house and have everything back to stone work, so in the living room in question i have an opportunity to hide all wires. I plan to build a media wall to house a big screen, and would like the L, Centre and R speakers built into said media wall rather than the usual and easier option of a soundbar.
i can then house two rear speakers within the rear cavity wall, and ceiling if i go for a 7.1. The sub can go on the floor in a corner.
i quite like the look of this Kef system,. although it appears its quite an old system now:

Im mindful the above doesn't account for an amp though but i see KEF are mentioned a lot on these boards. it needs to be something robust, as i dont want to be pulling wall speakers out due to a fault or poor design if i can help it.
All in, i'd say a rough budget of say £2.5/ £3k tops.
What are your recommendations, and does anyone have any pics for inspo for in wall systems. Every man and his dog are having media walls built and for good reason, but almost everyone appears to be opting for a slot to house a soundbar for ease.

Just about every speaker manufacturer makes in-wall and in-ceiling speakers these days.
The only two I am familiar with are B&W and Paradigm.
They both make excellent products, but if i was spending my own money I would buy buying Paradigm.
They have several ranges -

At your budget you are talking the Ci-Home series, you may have to look around to find a dealer, but i think it would be worth it.
