Where to get Linn kit mended
Discussion
I have a 12 year old Linn sneaky DS which has just stopped working. Looking on the internet the power supply gives up the ghost. The capacitors don't look to have domed tops, but the transformer looks odd like it has got hot.
It's not going to be economic to send back to Linn I suspect.
Any recommendations for electronics repairers to try?
I can't bear to dump it and it produced such a sweet sound through some B&Ws in the dining room.
Cheers

I got my Linn fixed at a place in Sheffield. http://hifi-repairs.com/It's not going to be economic to send back to Linn I suspect.

Apparently I can't just ship it, it has to go via a Linn dealer which isn't very convenient! Hey ho
Just send it to the Linn dealer and they'll send it on. There will be a process that the dealer follows so that Linn can deal with repairs in a organised manner ... end users sending various items direct will probably cause them a headache.Gassing Station | Home Cinema & Hi-Fi | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
