What 55” TV for a grand?
Discussion
I haven’t bought a TV for a long time and quite frankly the array of options is bewildering. I don’t really want to get into reading about nano this and that, and I don’t need the lates 8k bells and whistles.
The TV will be used mostly for watching sport (golf and football) and movies, so something that doesn’t suffer lag/ghosting when a a ball is moving would be great. Decent sound is a bonus as we don’t have a sound bar or anything like that.
Don’t need anything bigger than 55” but don’t want to go smaller.
Really don’t want to spend over £1k if possible. If there is a much better option for another £50 then it would be considered.
Thanks

Entry-level LG OLED or Samsung QLED should be around those prices; otherwise I'd be looking at HiSense and spending the saving on a decent sound bar.
