Firestick 4K ARC sound
Discussion
I have a nice Echo sound system in my spare room, two 4th gen Echos and a sub and the sound quality is really good.
I wanted to stream the sound from my TV to the system too, which I read on line and you can do via a Firestick, so I got a 4K firestick and plugged it in and set it up, all good and the sound is great.
As long as I am using the firestick I can hear the sound through the echos, but if I change to sky or my ps5 i then get the sound through the TV. ARC is enabled on the TV and the firestick is plugged in the correct HDMI port.
Any ideas?

AFAIK, although the Fire TV stick can send its own audio out via Bluetooth, it doesn't have the ability to act as a transmitter for other HDMI-connected devices. It doesn't matter if you've plugged it in to the TV ARC socket, a Fire TV stick just doesn't do what you want.
Connect your TV to the Bluetooth speakers if the TV supports that. Then you'll get any sound the the TV receives via those speakers. If that's not possible then look at wired solutions or alternative speakers.
