Hi all sorry for another thread on these but I’m in the market for a decent Bluetooth speaker.

Been looking at the Marshall Woburn 2 simply because I like the retro looks but have never heard one in person.

What else should I consider? I’m not interested in a flashing light boom box type thing and given that it won’t move all that often, battery isn’t a must.

Thanks for any advice guys.

isnt there a new version of the Zeppelin (B&W). The original always sounded bloody good.

Look at the Beolit 20. It should be easy enough to sort a proper demo if needed

I am slightly intrigued as to why Bluetooth if it won’t move and be on battery much though?

Love my zeppelin wireless, considering upgrading to the new version.

Sonos Move? Has bluetooth, Airplay and Wifi. Sounds good too.

If you are keeping it indoors and want something that looks good, I would go more for a streamer than out and out bluetooth.

Sonos is certainly an option although I (and others) have fallen out of love with it massively.

My Go-To now is BlueSound and their Blue-OS. It sounds better and has been adopted by other brands (both owned by the same parent co and independants like Monitor Audio) It sits on the Wifi, but will also allow Bluetooth connectivity as well (and Apple stuff)

Have a look at the Pulse range.

I'm a fan of the B&W Formation Flex: https://www.bowerswilkins.com/en-gb/wireless-speak...

I've got a few dotted around. They seem to be on sale at a few places around the £270 mark so with some budget flex you could even grab a couple since they can be set up in pairs.

My mate's got an Audiopro C10 which I've been quite impressed with, nice aesthetics too. Looks like they do a sub too...

My daughter has this in her Uni flat. Lovely sounding, well built unit even without the sub.

She had the choice of taking the C10, an old CA minx or a Naim Muso QB - no hesitation, she took the C10.

We’ve got a Marshall Stanmore II in our kitchen. Very impressed with it.

So much so we bought a Marshall Emberton for the bathroom. It’s tiny but really kicks arse!
