Amazon Fire 4K Audio Issues

I just bought a Firestick 4K - its plugged directly into an HDMI port on my LGOLED48C14B telly.
Sound out is via Toslink from the LG to my Marantz stereo amp which has a rather nice DAC built in.
I have an Amazon Music Unlimited account, so with the prospect of their Ultra HD offering 24 bit audio, I thought I was on to a winner.
However, delving into the various audio settings, I can listen to a track which says available in 24 bit audio, but device capability is apparently 16 bit. I have set both the Firestick output & telly input/output to PCM stereo, but seemingly only 16 bit is available.
Either I'm missing a trick, or the telly indeed cannot cope with 24 bit. Seeing as the telly is a current model, I would have thought that it would easily handle this(???)
I am aware of the arguments around 16/24 bit - I'm ancient & my ears are fked so I probably wouldn't notice the difference anyway, but.....

Any PHers got workarounds?

Thanks - will give it ago. I think I saw this referenced already elsewhere, but I couldn't see this option on the app: 'With version 3.3.581.0 there is 24 bit 192 kHz capability on my 4K FireStick. Within Amazon Music HD app, to the right of the search window , click on the user icon, audio quality, enable Ultra HD, and click Got It to enable and exit'
Firestick is brand new as of yesterday & has apparently run all required software updates....

Update: just tried what you suggested et Voila - 24 bit ultra HD working!!!!
