New AV unit / storage

On the hunt for a new TV unit
Current setup:
We're in the process of moving house and was planning on putting the TV on top of the unit, however the feet overhang (units are 42cm deep).
Ideally i'm trying to find a unit 1.8m wide, and divided into three sections (one for the centre speaker), 50/60cm deep so that the TV can sit on top of it and fairly low (we'll be sitting closer to the TV in the new house).
I've looked at all the usual places but can't seem to find anything that fits the bill (oak/teak). I think we may have to end up getting something custom built...
Current setup:
- Wall mounted TV (Sony 75")
- Ikea Besta unit (1.8m wide, 42cm deep (with doors), 70cm high (with legs))
- Dali floor standing speakers

Morning!
You could try this company, we we've just bought a really nice Dark TV Unit for our new house

Alternatively, somewhere like Sevenoaks, Peter Tyson, HyperFi would have units like the ones you're after, but obviously they'd be a bit more costly.

I had to house quite a large amount of equipment when I replaced mine, and after deciding that most things on the market were either too small (or, mainly, too shallow) or about £2000, I decided to have one built. A friend of mine is a carpenter so he built one for me, to my exact spec, out of 18mm MDF, and I painted it and put a nice walnut worktop on top of it. Soft close doors, the works.
Another friend of mine (equally as nerdy as me with piles of kit) has more recently bought one from here: https://www.chaseavdirect.co.uk/ they seem to do a range of decent sizes and styles.

How about replacing the legs with a table top mount? There aren't many that go up to 75" but here are a couple:

I ended up with a custom unit from https://audinni.com/ Might be worth contacting them, it wasn't as pricey as I thought.

Good Call - that's wat I'm doing with ours, as I need the extra height to ensure my Centre Speaker can sit in front / under the screen:https://www.amazon.co.uk/RFIVER-Universal-Adjustab...
