Hi all,

I've limited space above my desk to fit a TV (currently have a 32 inch 1080p tv, which has lasted me forever but want to upgrade). The width of the space is c. 105cm, so any 48inch TV's are unfortunately a no go (The C1 is 107cm!!). I thought I'd struck luck with the 43 inch Samsung QN90, however, it seems the 43 inch is only 60hz, with the larger screen sizes being 120hz.

Whilst I'm pretty confident there's nothing out there at the moment, I was wondering if anyone in the know or that keeps up to speed with releases is aware of any TV's coming out that are a smaller size (43inch or below) that would fit my requirements? Reddit etc doesn't seem to come up with much, either!

Monitor suggestions also welcome but to be honest, would want to avoid the need for separate speakers, would like to wall mount etc, so think a TV is best.

Thanks

TBH, if you are that into gaming then I would have thought a sound bar is a must!

I was close to getting a Sony KD43X89J from John Lewis. 120hz, 2.1 and 43 inch, but I found it odd that this was not listed in any reviews. I think this is due to the fact it is LED.

Went into curry’s this weekend and they showed me the LG C1 and had to get one. I managed to get one from Sevenoaks for £899, they also chucked in a £140 pair of on ear headphones. I am a tad worried as this will be on my desk and at 48 inch it may be a struggle to use excel, outlook etc. But sod it, PS5 will be awesome

Gigabyte Aorus FZ43U. All the gaming monitor you could ever want and a useful bit cheaper than the ROG above.

Apparently there will be a 42” C2 LG OLED in the first half of next year.

Depends if you’re in a hurry or not.

Thanks all for the responses. I looked a bit more into the monitors but given hdmi 2.1 is relatively new tech, there are some shortcomings in those mentioned.

As mentioned by the poster above (forgive me, on my phone so quoting is an ache!), will wait for the 42inch LG that’s due to release next year (hopefully early!).

Thanks all.
