Repair B&W Sub Cabinet Scratches - Soft Touch Matt Black
Discussion
So having been left to their devices, my kids have managed to damage the top of the cabinet on my ASW610XP sub. It was originally the soft touch matt black finish, kind of like a rubberised feel.
Images attached show the scratch marks etc.
Any ideas on how I could try to repair this? My initial thoughts were to use a light filler and then to mask and spray the top with plastidip.
Second (potentially back up if the above goes wrong) is to then wrap the cabinet in some black woodgrain vinyl.
Any thoughts or experience would be much appreciated.
