Only recently heard about these things & no idea whether this is a well regarded source:

https://www.projectorreviews.com/hisense/hisense-1...

Does anyone here have one? If so, what do you think? Do any of the media/home electronics professionals on here have a view?

Haven't been able to pick up much info from, for example, WhatHiFi, T3, Stuff, AVF etc. I'd assume a well thought out separates would perform better (esp black levels have raised comment) , but kind of like the idea of not having to bother about blackout curtains or ceiling mounted stuff.

Keen to hear user experience. Thanks, CF

I saw them and the Vava at a trade show 3 weeks ago and with the right screen they are really quite amazing.

The Hisense they come with the screen and the 100" is shipped built!!!

The Vava is impressive within its cabinet and screen lift all for unjust under £5k

Both of them have excellent ambient light rejection (ALR) we have a video on our YouTube channel and we had our video light on full blast at the screen and you can still see the image.

We can get either.

1.30 in is the VAVA with push up screen and cabinet, you can see the video light shining on it.

The second one is the video is out on the show floor and very good give the brightness of the space - this is the Hisense and 100" fixed screen.
