Wall mounting LG OLED without a soundbar?
Discussion
Hi All
I've got an LG C9 OLED, which as I believe has downward facing speakers, and uses the curved stand to direct the audio forwards towards the person watching.
I'm thinking of wall mounting it, but as yet don't have a soundbar or other surround sound system for it. I would just like to know if anyone has done this, and how much the audio is affected by not having the stand directing the sound towards the audience.
If the audio is going to be really poor because it is directed straight down towards the floor, i won't bother wall mounting it until i've got some other speakers.
Thanks

I have 2 wall mounted LG OLED's (B6 - 55" and a 65") and they sound fine. Due to all OLED's I've seen having just a flat piece of glass on the front, I'd assume that all speakers face downwards so would imagine the stand which points the direction may be bit of a gimmick and would mean you couldn't wall mount if the design really added that much value. I'd say you're good to go!!
