Oppo UDP-203 4k Blue-ray player - problems after update...

Does anyone have this player? Since recent software updates it hasn't been handshaking with my LG OLED TV that well, especially when playing HDR content.

Anyone else have this problem. Before the Oppo software update it was a brilliant player.

Not yet but will be using mine later (also with an LG OLED), so thanks for the heads-up. I do recall once when I first had it an update caused some problems; a further one was issued very quickly that resolved it. Hopefully the support remains on the ball.

Real shame Oppo discontinued their production of these; they are cracking players.

Did you follow the back up your settings -> upgrade -> reset -> restore settings procedure?

No I didn't actually.

However I seem to have resolved the problem by amending some settings on the Oppo. Found a post on AV Forums about the issue:

Setup Menu > Video Output Setup > HDR Setting ; Dolby Vision to TV-led
