Sky deals anyone?
Discussion
I posted about this about a month ago.
I'm currently paying 23/month for 39mb fibre, line rental and the full Sky entertainment package with Sky Q. Signed up via Carphone Warehouse. If I'd wanted Sports and Movies that would have gone up to 58/month iirc. Still cheap when you consider fibre and line rental are included.

Today I have SkyQ Silver 2Tb, 1 x minibox, multiscreen, boxsets inc HD/UHD, free install being fitted for £34/month.
This is an 'upgrade' from my basic SkyHD 22.20/mnth package.
However, i did cancel my existing and within 24hrs i had an email saying 'come back to Sky' with a different phone number to call.
The only thing i haggled for was the deal for 18 months rather than 12, which saves about £91 in total i think.
The only real way to get a decent deal for existing customers is to actually cancel your subs, unless you can get something decent whilst you are on the phone to them.
They have a Facebook messenger service, but those agents cannot match the deals the agents on the phones have access to.

TV only - I cancelled and ignored all the offers. Last week got an email offering 60% off. I was paying £38 a month when I cancelled for the box sets package. Online chat to clarify and I now have the box sets package, Sports and Sports HD for £28.60 a month for 12 months with no tie in after that. Full price is something like £71, which is nuts. Less than 30 quid I can live with.
Edited to add - forgot I also was given £20 credit to my account.

Cancelled Sky and was offered 60% off straight away.
During the 30 days cancellation period, live chat didn't offer me anything more.
Day of my cancellation, went onto the "come back to Sky" live chat and got 60% off and £50 credit on a 30 day rolling contract.
I'm after Sky Q and during a later live chat, they confirmed they would honour the 60% discount and it would be £100 for the kit / install and 18 months contract.
Next live chat will be to get the contract to align with the one i've recently signed for. I'm happy to pay for the install as i want a hybrid LNB so i can go back to HD / Freesat in the future. Well, more accurately, so i can threaten to do so when i'm up for the next round of negotiations!

I am thinking about signing up to Sky but pretty expensive, Sky original, with box sets is £38 a month, if i then add sports its adds another £20ish a month. When i was last on sky a few years ago i had access to the F1 channel and no other sports channels, that was perfect as i am not interested in any other sports channels.
Ideally i would like the discovery channels, F1, Box Sets all in HD.
Anyone able to offer any help, recommendations?
