Want to get a car over here, but don't want to drop too much cash. As I'll only be here a year or so I was wondering if it was worth getting a COE car with a couple of years to run. Anyone know of any downsides to this cunning plan? Other than I'll probably be running about in an early 90's civic....

Other options, something old and interesting (alfa Junior / Porsche 911 etc .. ) they will cost $40 - 60 now, and should sell easily for the same again in a year or so!
I'm really tempted by some of them, but not sure they will return the same value when I need to move on.... Convince me one way or another.... I need some wheels!

I found this, gorgeous and only about 3 x what it would cost here. Gorgeous.
It's lovely and I've always liked them especially the TWR ones! lick

Problem being is I've set myself a very miserly budget and this beast is only 4.7 x what I've allowed myself!! frown

XJSHappyGoLucky does have a nice ring to it though...... laugh

Those buggers from AutoBahn haven't repsonded to any of my enquiries so I think I'd best sneak off and buy an old civic before they tempt me to something divorce worthy.....

Stoppit! banghead I've got to be sensible, and not spend a fortune on another car banghead I've got four back home as it is!

I'll just have to make sure I've got blacked out windows or one of these for the civic - paperbagweeping

oops, look similar to the X300 wheels I have on mine. One of the diamond turned ones got damaged and not available any more. However, imho these suit the S and are a damn sight easier to keep clean!

TVML... Left the guy a message, hopefully get to look at it on Saturday, not the Jag by a long chalk, but almost on budget and doesn't look too shabby.

think you just need SGCarmart on in the background, and just hit refresh every 10 minutes
Normally do, but today I have mostly been out on site doing walkdowns most of the day so have lost about three litres of fluids, beer will need to flow big time tonight to top levels back up!!
