Hi All,
Apologies if this has been covered before but the search function doesn't seem to work for me.

I'm passing through Bangkok at the start of next month and need a couple of suits making. I need someone who knows what they're doing (and what a boot-cut trouser looks like) but doesn't cost the earth - the suits are for interviews following a career break so Armani is out this year!

So, who to use?

Cheers.

TC

Check Excelsior Tailors in Bangkok out.
I made couple of suits from them when they were at Expedia office in London.
Few friends also visited them in Bangkok and have been happy.
Price reasonable and great value.
Cheers.

hehe

If you find yourself in Singa, i use CYC in Raffles Hotel - sounds like it should be expensive but find that they cost about the same as the tailors in Far East Plaza but do a much better job

Might give them a try, getting bored of my usual place, and they sometimes use a bit of artisitic license on what I ask for....

On this note, anyone here resident in Bangkok? Need to find an e-mail address for the tailor I used in 2009- The suit is still looking great and I'd like a second to replace my old Jaeger number.

Can't find them anywhere on t'Internet!

Great stuff, thanks- Hopefully should be in business still as it was only 2yrs ago.

I think it's called Kings International Tailor or something similar, and is on Khao San Road (yeah, I know rolleyes )- The same side as the D and D Inn, and a couple of doors down from a 7-11. The bloke who runs it is a tall Sikh guy called Andrew- Very well spoken and likes his cricket!

All I need is an e-mail address and contact number- I've lost the business card, they have my measurements though and the suit is superb quality. Not one of the standard "tourist cheapies".
