Phucket Bike Week

To get somthing going, I have been charged with organizing a ride from KL to Pucket for Bike Weeek. Still in the early panning stage but assuming that ths will be at Songkran on the 13 to 15 Apr,il plan will be somthing like, leave KL on Monday 18th Ride to the border, atay the night at the border or Hatyai, (Border if it is raining otherwise Hatyai for a better start next day), leave early next day for Phucket, Wednesday to Friday at Patong, ride back on Saturday-Sunday, again staying at border overnight, fare number of people already going on a wide varity of bikes, 3 Vulcans, BMW, Harley, Rocket, I'm taking the ZXR. Ridding speed will not beas fast as many groups and we keep the days short, but in 5 trips we've never had an accident.
The ridding is 500km a day, several people have done it before, so no route finding problems. we tend to stay in a decent family hotel in Patong but not top end international, in Hatyai we stay at the Florid (around 700baht a night), no pillons allowed in the goup, wife, girl friends and kids fly up. We will be taking a car to carry the luggage, but otherwise this is a group of mates ridding together no organisation, deposits or hotel discounts, but agood group who look after each other if things go wrong.
Pucket bike week itself is no big deal but its an excuse to go to Thailand witht he boys, any one interested in going can post her or PM me.

Ok Fussy, are you around in Phucket that week, want to meet have a beer and discuss bringing the 6'r up for the car show you were planning.

Will be here. Son's birthday on the 13th so will be busy that day with him. I presune you are staying in Patong? I'm in Rawai to the South, so if you want to come and have a look round down here we can meet up or I can come up to Patong for a beer in the evening?
