Singaporeans of the world untie!!

Not sure what the ritual is around chrimbo as I'm sure some of us may be going home, but I was wondering what appetite there was for a PH meet somewhere - Boat/Clarke Quay is the obvious, but I'm open to other suggestions.

Just wanted to get this out there before we all get booked up for works drinks etc.

I am reasonably free apart from the 8th/9th/10th Dec.

LOL!!! wink

I am pretty free, back in the UK from 23rd to 6th but have friends in town 18th to 22nd...

How does something like 15th/ 16th fit? I can't see me getting much work done that week, anyway!

BQ/ CQ sounds good to me, I can crawl home! Does anywhere to a traditional Christmas dinner?

We need to actually meet this time and rope a good crowd in!

Think there are only 2 or 3 other phers left in Singapore currently!

Trying to think of somewhere a bit more " interesting" than the same old boat / Clarke quay

Actually, I have been contacted offline by a couple who don't participate actively on teh forums, really... So I reckon we could find a few!

"interesting" suits me, but I am getting a bit homesick, so would prefer a turkey dinner to the hawker centre - LOL wink

Likewise, over the years have done all the brunches in Singapore and i always come back to Fullerton.

You can't do it too often or it looses some of the special feel but it is damn good .... and they do get you seriously pished too!!!!

Start on Bloody Mary's (Usually 2 glasses with a few rounds of Oysters)

Move to Champers (usually 2 bottles with the roast / sashimi / extra seafood)

Clean pallet off with the frozen Margarita's (usually 2)

Gather $200 worth of cheese and whatever extra champers you can to finish

i may have done this a few tiems before hehe

5th or 12th works for me

?? what happened to your passport? Loose it in OT or something?

The High Comission can usually turn a rush job around in 2 or 3 days even though it has to go to honkers these days!!!

Or have you been telling the boss that its a right royal PITA and will take several months wink

No, just ran out of pages, and had to send it to Hongkers. Should be back early December, but as I can't play golf at Bintan, I may as well get pissed!

I have started as I mean to go on... 2 days getting up at 6:30am and going to the gym, followed by another session, post-work, at 6:30pm... All ruined by Little India for a curry last night, followed by Le Noir, followed by Sluttica and crawling into bed at 3am... on a school night!

I am a bad person...

Let's get the 5th booekd ASAP so I have a distraction from the wonders of CQ!

So, it's now the 3rd of December... Would we even get a booking for Sunday?

It's all gone very quiet in here!

However I am at Clarke quay at a meeting right now and will be knocking off about 4pm if any of you other reprobates fancy a crafty poets day beer in the neighborhood?
