I need to pick up some tools for tweaking/maintaining my motorbike.

Anyone know any good shops to check out? I need a torque wrench and some sockets initially!

I don't want any Chinese crap thats made of cheese either! But don't want to be paying for Snap-on stuff.

First question - obviously ears what bike you get?????

Secondly, probably around Ubi is the best, will ask a mate who is rather anal about what sort of tools he likes to handles hehe and update with details.

Alternatively buy from amazon. You will need to set yourself up a vPost account which is easy to do and makes for very affordable international shipping also.

Hi John

I picked up a Ducati Monster 696 (2008) last weekend. Damn it hot wearing bike gear.

Seen a few shops in Ubi, will check them out.

Cheers for the Amazon (.com or .co.uk?) and VPost tip, I'll check it out!

Nice bike!!

doesn't matter on the Amazon bit, its wherever you can find.

Vpost is very handy because it gives you a virtual address in either USA, UK or Australia that forwards to your Singa address.

If using Amazon.com they do free postage within the lower states so all you pay is the SingPost rate to SG which is usually very reasonable!

Excellent, just checked vPost, what a cool idea.

Postage from the US seems the best. I'll have a gander later

just been advised that yup, best way is direct from manufacturers (like snap-on) via web shops like amazon and delivered through VPost!
