Well As far as first impressions go, I really like the car.
Interior gives me a nice feel, seats feel very secure and hug you nicely when cornering.
Suspension is also good. In normal mode its just soft enough to make it really pleasant around town, and and in sport mode you can feel it stiffen up and really makes a difference in handling.
I went for the E250 CGI in the end. I couldnt justify spending another £50k or so for the E350 Coupe, and this one has already set me back just under £100k as it is. I must say its surprisingly fast for a 2.0. A mate last night asked me if it was a V8. Ok its not as fast as a V8 or anything, but its certainly feels like theres much more than a 2 litre under the bonnet.
I am averaging around 13.5 - 13.9 l/100km, which I dont think is very good, but TNH I am not too bothered about fuel consumption. Not sure what that is in MPG but it wont be far off 20 I believe.
Anyway, eogh waffle, heres some pics I took a few minutes ago. Oh and I haven't washed the car lately either.
Panoramic Roof which I like to make use of
I havent driven the S Class once since I got back

Thanks and aye it is a Malaysian Rego. I'm in Sabah East Malaysia. And yes prices are high indeed. Same money would get me much more back in the UK.cars realy can be kick in the balls expensive out here can't they!

I think my poor fuel economy is partly due to all city driving, but I have been known to put my foot down on more than one occasion
Prices here are bad but I believe they're even worse where you are over in Singa?

$SG30k off list for my 370Z and it still cost the equiv of GBP80k! Prices here are bad but I believe they're even worse where you are over in Singa?
You guys get cheaper tax and insurance in Eastern Malaysia don't you?
Got a mate of mine who lives in KL but transferred his Sarawak rego to west MY for
a: Cheaper running costs
b: confusion when he drives a Diesel truck into Singapore (S-Plates)
Very nice, I Quite like them, definitely a lot more than I like the 350Z's.
Re tax and insurance, yes its much cheaper in East Malaysia. In Peninsular Malaysia for a 5.0 its something crazy like RM11,000 or RM32,000 a year for tax, depending on whether its private or company. I looked into a 350Z once and insurance and tax would have cost RM3,500 here in East Malaysia.
Have u still got the 911?

Hi JKay, 100 K for a car in Sabah, you must be a very very goood driver. I'm in Sarawak and thought about bringing over my BMW for two years but decided that the way they drive I'd ship the wifes Kambara, worth all of 1500 Pound to anyone, currently looking for a car for her so she will let me take the Kamabra.
Any way I get to KK on occassions so I'll give you PM for a beer,if that OK, John and I meet up when we In Kl or Sing.
Ref car tax my mate just bought a 7 liter Corvette in KL just over 5000 pound ayear, but as it is an 83, he has managed to get the 80% reduction in car tax for aclassic car, so only a grand.

Well I'm in the middle of a career change at the moment. I was a bobby at one stage (Toxteth Liverpool so I was kept amused), but have recently got my commercial helicopter pilots license. Eventually want to try fly offshore here in Malaysia. KK is not a bad place to live I think, but can get a bit boring sometimes, as I imagine Sarawak wouldWe get equipent made in KK so I go there now and then
