Nice / Interesting places to go to in Malaysia - South of KL

Looking to take the new car on a little road up to Malaysia in a few weeks and looking for somewhere interestig to go to.

Don't realy want to go further than KL (i.e. keeping the trip time town to 5 hours or less ideally)

Looking for somewhere nice and quiet / relaxing for the missus (i.e. get away from the City and into some tranquility for there missus)

Any nice resourts / Spa's or the like that the few local's north of the Causeway may be able to recoment? Is there anything recomended on the outskirts of KL?

Hi John first question what is the new car?. Obvious choice is Malacca, used to go fairly often as a mate had a boat there, never stayed at a resort hotel just one of the local places in the city, so can't recommend anywhere, there is a'fun park' place near Malacca just off the N/S highway. KL wise I suppose the Palace of The Golden Horses or Sunway, sunway os for teenagers but there is loads of shopping around the TPGH.

Sorry thinking more SPA, than fun park ... quiet and tranquil sorta thing, with alcohol and good food

Car is a Nissan 370Z. After completely buggering my knee i needed something auto (but with paddles) that would be fun but not extortionate (relative to Singapore car prices)

Was looking at The Majestic in Malaka as an idea.
