Well, there I was just looking idly at PH and accidentally hit "show all forums".... Bloody hell, there's an Asia section!
So, anyone in Shanghai? I visit at least once a month for about 2 days, if anyone ever fancies a beer, I'd be up for it.

Of course, anyone that is out there is most likely sound asleep by now... [facepalm/]

ETA Thanks Funk! I could've sworn I put a title in!

Water is for wimps! I've gone down the manly route and I've just had a big bowl of Laksa with extra chillies and sambal!*

Sounds perfect, Lunch at Fullerton, then onto Boat/Clarke/Robertson Quay to find a big screen upon which to watch the race!

If we follow that idea then i wont remember anything ... Lunch at the Fullerton WILL involve at least 3 bottles of Bubbly each + Bloody Mary's and Frozen Margarita's to finish .....

In all the time I've been in Singapore I've only been in there twice, I didn't even know there was a raffle!

I lived in Shanghai for the best part of a year in 2008.... great city with plenty going on.

What do you do over there if you don't mind me asking?

This is going back some 15 years+ now, so probably totally different now. It used to be one of my main haunts back in the day though. biggrin

It's probably no different, you know Singapore, it has a habit of changing yet somehow staying the same.

I also lived there in the late sixties for three years, RAF brat, and some things have definitly changed since then. hehe

But some things haven't. Our old house is still there, just where we left it, 44 Jalan Limau Bali. biggrin
