Watched the Bahrain GP last night, on Astro Start Sports, (Malaysia), I thought the coverage was appalling, by my count there was an advert every 5 laps, and that excludes the number of times they went to a ‘smaller’ screen.
If the adverts were for a product that gave the broadcaster revenue, (and therefore reduced my monthly bill) I may find it acceptable, but there was only one ‘paid’ advert in each session, the majority of the time they were simply detailing future programs.
Am I the only one who is upset by this,

The MDA (Media Development Authority) in singapore are a bit stricter on what advertising is allowed so you don't get anywhere near as many adverts as in Malaysia or Indonesia.

Paula Malia Ali is rather pleasant to watch but the other comentators do get on my nerves ...

I thought Star Sport was the same in Sing, Malaysia and Thailand,so I've learned something,
For the China race we had a local channel with the UK coverage, but they don't broadcast the 'European'timed races as it disrupts the nightly news.
I agree about Paula. but yesterday Alex called the start exactly right, his predication of how the race would go was perfect.

true Alex does know his stuff, unlike old mono-brow!!

you actually get very little advertising on the TV here in Singapore, especially on the paid for channels.

Its still star sports but they don't interrupt us with the Petronas Syntium dudes polishing their valves as much!!
