Got my car ready for the first round of the Malaysian Super Series to be run at Sepang on 17th April, but need to run it on the track before if possible. No chance at Sepang as it is closed for the F1, so I'm looking at Johor,
Question,
Is Johor OK and worth towing the car from KL, specifically is the driving std OK? Don’t want my race cat T boned by idiots in Satria's (another reason not to use Sepang)
Also when I look at the web site they appear to have some good low cost racing,
What is the racing like at Johor, is it worth entering?
Thanks for any info

Berw, Pasir Guidang is usualy rather empty ... and TBH avoid the Singaporeans in general!!!

its quite a complex twisty track rather than the power track that is Sepang.

It is also abrasive, so you will use some rubber!!

the people there are good and you get your own garage

for quick roadcars the lap time is 1:45 - 2.00

Worth the effort

edit, when you going??? may pop over to watch ... wont track as my clutch is almost gone, just awaiting new parts!

Sadly on that, i was having a talk with the Sphincter police here in Singapore, and they have realy clamped down on the rather odd regulation that no Singapore EP or PR can drive a Mayalsian car into Singapore!

Basically if you are a foreigner with residency or employment pass, you can only drive a Singapore registered car (through the checkpoints - no regs once in the country!!!) ?!?!

Also only allowed 60 days in country.

However for 25,000 RM that rangie could be a very cool smoker just for getting about KL biggrin
