Driving KL to Singa?
Discussion
Hi folks. I'm scheduled to be out in KL during w/c 20 Feb and will have to shoot down to Singa for a meeting one day. I normally just jump on an AirAsia and let Uber be my friend at both ends, but I'm a little sick of flying so much and with KLLC terminal being close to an hour out of town, I'm thinking about driving it for a change.
Does anyone know if you rent a car in KL (through Hertz or similar), does it come with the right insurance / autotoll etc for use in Singa?

yup, complicated driving hire cars between the two countries.
Its a very easy flight to Singapore, or if you are already staying in KLCC, the Aeroline coach takes about the same amount of time once you factor in faffing about with airport immigrations

In my mates expensive (in that part of the world) Sing registered car going reasonably quick, he wasn't gong to let me off that cheap (but in £££ it was cheap)Its usually a flat RM50, no matter what you drive / speed / rego ..... never had any price hikes in the SG registered 370Z or 911 ....
To be fair, they don't like Singaporean People Carriers for some reason .... lol!
