hi guys,

i live in dubai where pretty anything niche has to be imported. i'm looking to purchase some alloys for my elise, like enkei's. just wondering if it'd be better to purchase from japan rather than the US or EU, but can't to turn much up via google. any ideas where to start looking? even better if i can get lotus specific yokohama's as well.

shipping to dubai would be ideal but i'll be in singapore next month so that's also an option.

cheers.

I don't know about the wheels you are asking about but NBQY Special Wheels Co Ltd make 3 piece wheels to your own specifcation at great price as direct from manufacture and will arrange delivery to Dubai, they did some great wheels for my mate, but nothing under 18 inch so no good to me for my Sevens, Chinese but great quality.
I've no involvement in the company, but I have all their contact info if you want, came from a quote they gave me before I found out the size limits.

thanks but for a road car i wouldn't be comfortable with that, i'd be worried about failure. the enkei rpf1's are the lightest cast wheel you can get in elise sizes [volks are lighter but forged and i'm not sure i like them] and i know they can take serious abuse as the dc5 endurance racer i spanner for runs them.

do we have any japan based phers who could point me towards an enkei dealer? how does malaysia stack up for parts costs berw? i'll be in singapore for the asia games from april so plenty of time to head across.

turns out i can't get the enkei's in lotus sizes.

i'm now after a set of rays engineering volk te37. pretty standard 'scene' type wheels out in japan i imagine. i will be putting yokohama a048's onto them, both manufactured in japan so i am still hoping to find a supplier there who can ship to dubai.

any ideas gents?
