Four months in Hong Kong

Looks like I'm going to be in HK for four months (Sept-Dec) with family (Wife & 2 Kids). Mrs L's family live in HK, but we are going to need our own accommodation. Does anyone know of any good serviced apartments on HK Island 2/3 bedrooms 1000-1400sqft under $50,000?

We've looked for furnished (and unfurnished) apartments, but the short duration of lease is a problem.

You will find plenty of places in the Mid Levels which would suit your needs - 1200-1400 square feet, although I understand the lease length would be an issue.

If it were me, to accommodate the short duration of the lease, no mucking around with landlords/deposits and furniture; I'd be looking at serviced apartments. You'll find some decent ones in central/Wan Chai/Causeway Bay for your budget.

Thanks ETOPS, looks like a serviced apartment will be the easiest solution. Need to get a short list and send the in-laws round them to suss out what lives up to its billing. Hours of googling is frustrating....
