Hello Asia section - I'm normally in the NZ section.
I have searched for a Panther Kallista and found one in Kajang.
http://www.mudah.my/Panther+Kallista+2+8V6+auto-20...

Now, my question is - without a price on the advert - are cars generally more expensive than back in the UK and can they be bought easily for export to New Zealand?
I'm after an automatic Kallista and not many in the UK hence finding this one.

Provisional enquiries only but you never know, until I know wink

General rule twice the UK price, however this car has been for sale for a year and has seen no interest, make an offer you may be surprised, a mate of mine just bought an MGB for leass than half the asking, exporting is no oproblem you just need to demonstrate you own the car so best to do a transfer to your name then export, you will not get any refund of the duty paid when you export.

Do you know of the car? How do you know its been for sale for so long as I must be missing that bit.

Panther's in the UK generally sell nowadays between £6k to £10k so I'd like this to be not much above £5k to allow shipping and tax costs on top.

I have contacted the seller but no reply.
I shall await Alfred's reply - he may be back to work tomorrow biggrin

That's quite good value if you're right at 20,000 - just over £4000. Obviously worth an offer if he's had it that long?
I have to had a few thousand $$$ this end for shipping and tax scratchchin

Sorry my typo 20,000 pounds, I am sure it was 100,000rm when I first saw the advert, cause a mate of mine sold one in Bristol years ago for around 8K, and i remebr thinking he was asking alot

He will never get get that for it, there is no market at the moment, and few people have cash.

IME nobody on Mudah seems to reply to the online contact forms - SMS sometimes works, but phone is the preferred method it seems.

Hard to generalise but most of the dealers I spoke to when I was car-hunting were easy enough to speak to over the phone.

Call him or SMS, Alfred is I assume Cinese so English will not be an issue.

No reply from contact forms or SMS so too risky for exporting if he can't do a simple reply to my enquiries.
