Time for a beer in KL this weekend?

As I've been in Singapore for the last few weeks, I thought a side trip to KL for the weekend might be a good idea.

Only in for one night (the 28th) any of the KL crew around for a beer?
XJSJohn suggests the rooftop bar of traders hotel?

Ah well... I ended up having dinner in Traders and then heading up to the rooftop bar for a drink.
Didn't stay long to be honest, what they were calling music sounded like someone strangling cats to me lol

Before I moved over here I used to stay in the Hilton during the few trips to KL I had last year.

There was a TV channel which had some awful cabaret act and I just assumed it was a local TV channel or something. But no, I eventually twigged that it was the house band in the night club there and it was being shown live ! It didn't exactly inspire me to go there, put it that way !!

Sadly not, that was my first time..... I suspect that it won't be my last (especially not if John offers his apartment again lol)
I'll pop a post on here if I'm heading that way again.

You should try staying at the Conrad here in SG : really nice hotel [was there for 6 weeks ]... but the woman they had singing in the piano bar ....was like BAD karaoke ... ..enough to motivate me to cross the road for a beer ..
