Jeez - those clips shot at Bugis Junction (linked on the PH Ferrari thread to YT) are truly shocking.
Unknown female in the car - was he just showing off ? Paid a high price as did others.
RIP.

won't go too far into this as it is a bit of a delicate subject i guess, but i have seen this chap driving about in the past (it's quite a distinctive GTO with the black roof). He seemed to want to have a race with everyone that he saw as potential competition - certainly have had one or 2 traffic light grand prix's with him over the past few months. My guess is that he had done just that a few sets of lights further back down Victoria Street.

Even more sad that the girl in the passenger seat has now been identified, that was her Graduation Party night .... seems that he "may" have been friend of family from back in China or something rather than the initial assumption of "call girl"

The big political one that has come out though ... and i have heard this talked about before, is why did no airbags go off in the taxi?!! It is starting to emerge that COmfort Delgro "may" have ordered all their Sonata's without any airbags installed to save on cost! Certainly the driver might have had a chance of survival if this is the case.

The only plus out of this is that people seem to be being much more careful about red lights since the weekend ... but it wont last.

RIP all involved, sad loss of life for a moment's stupidity.

Not so sure now !
Crashed one has yellow brake calipers and different wheels
- although they might have been changed as photo was taken
last year around Suntec City Mall.

possibly sold on - that is an old "private" number (probably something auspicious) SF* being about 10 years ago i think ....

The crashed car has a SKC plate on it which would make it either new or new reg issued about 8 - 12 months ago.

Even by Singapore standards i can't imagine there are many limited edition GTO's knocking about.

anyhoo ....

Indeed.
If it was the one involved you have to say it WAS a cracking looking car.

That looks like just outside the Conrad - where Bab Noodle used to be? seems to be popular spot for high end cars...
