Got a day to kill in KLCC

I'm going to be in KL for the Formula 1 later in March, and due to arriving 24 hours before others turn up I've got an afternoon and evening to kill in the city. As I'm a bit of a photographer I was going to use this opportunity to get the use of the 'paedo cam' in the city out of the way before I subject the rest of the group to my waving it about!

Would anybody have any tips on what I could use this time to see?

Depends what you like photographing, but here are some of the more obvious suggestions:

- KL Tower (Menara KL) - get a better view compared to the observation deck in the twin towers
- Petaling St. - bustling street market with loads of hawker stands for food - bit mad, and not everyone's cup of tea
- Merdaka Square (pretty close to Petaling St.)
- Coliseum Restaurant - you'll love it or hate it, but it's a hang up from the old colonial days and seems stuck in a bit of a time warp
- for easy, convenient grub in KLCC, check out the Little Penang Cafe right up the top near the centre of the mall - nice food and decent prices.

get a great view of Ampang Park and the Twin Towers from the bar at the top of the KL Traders

some fairly mad driving antics on the roads around KLCC, Ferrari's getting lost in pot holes etc

Or are you after "different" pictures "ahem"
