Just spent $140k on the restoration and up for $48k...
$140k and they didn't think to get it a new COE before they went silly money .... the car will still need another $75k (currently, will go up) in less than 6 months if it is to stay on the road here.
No idea what they could have spent that sort of wedge on though, thats full rotisserie rebuild money, with plenty of change left over too!!
Interesting though, must be a day for cossies.

Good spot. What are the chances of two cossies at the same money with close to expiry COEs. Bizarre.
This looks like a lorra lorra fun for the singe gent or lady...

on a similar vein to that lotus, i know who is selling this one, and i know that for an enthusiast that will look after it a good deal can be done (will probably take $35k or maybe even less)

Hope he's upgraded the brakes, the standard 1.6 ones were so-so, even with standard power.
