I guess living in Singapore is slowly diluting my need to drive......Still receiving my subscription to EVO though!

Will I ever own a car again....how depressing!

i don't want to depress you more but COE's are on the rise again ... up to $75k .... should have the usual CNY dip on second bidding in Jan, but my guess is over $100k by easter!!!

Glad i am happy with my car for the next few years, problem is the missus now wants some wheels - old nail here we come, although that will go down like a fart in a space suit i suspect!!

BTW, you know that there is an EVO Singapore too, has most of the good UK articles and a few local ones thrown in as well.

Same here in China, no need to drive.
Every thing is just so convenient, and within walk distance.
If it's too far to walk, then any bus journey is just 10p

I guess a car here is a hinderance.

Hi XJS,
Sure, here in the China city is a difficult option.
However back in UK, I would never, or rather "could" never be without one.
It's just the short periods I am back in UK, that I use it now.

i have still managed to do 40'000 KM in the past 18 months, mostly driving within Singapore! (OK, probably 25% of that hooning up to KL!!)

Dread to think what my average KPH would be without the NS highway blasts to bring it up to 55KPH!

Hello Dave, John and the gang!

I have been quiet the last few weeks... Work has been busy and seemed to have a few things to do! I haven't seen Dave in about 8 months now!?!?

Highlights of my week include staying with Mark G, from here, for 3 days as Rachael has not been best impressed with me and signing up to fight in the White Collar boxing in March... The same night that I broke my hand (all connected with point 1).

Fun times... Still have a car though wink

Anyone going to the SCC 7s this weekend? Should be fairly free for the next little while as I don't think my missus is that interested in spending time with me!

Yes mate - The chicks are getting their knees dirty, today! No interest... Which is odd, because female mud wrestling would have me down there in a flash smile

Ummm... It's a combination of what I have done and haven't done. She won't tell me what half of those things are though... It's not looking great, to be honest! But, when is it ever looking great? Will grovel. As usual.

Let's see who is about next week... I'm sure Dave will be losing his keys and wallet at Boat Quay one night!

Yea these female mud wrestlers can probably be described by a few of the posts on the "phrases you love" thread!!

I turned up at the rugby on Saturday and there were chicks still playing. I got a bit of a dirty look off someone for asking why, if it was meant to be girls playing, there was a bloke on the wing for Malaysia. Apparently it was not a bloke. I was not convinced. Anyway, anyway - went on Saturday and Sunday and really enjoyed it actually. Good times had by all.

I tried sleeping on my balcony floor last night. No idea (other than being drunk) why I thought that was a better idea than the sofa or spare room. Rachael text me a nice text this morning; no recollection of any argument whatsoever. Jeez.

He's a danger and has now gone very quiet... wink

I have a curry club tomorrow night and nursing a hangover today, so what are people's movements towards the end of the week/ weekend?

Ian not even going to try and quote any more !!!

Your bizarre choice of dog house location sounds similar to the sort of thing I do, also with amnesia!

Weeks plans are mostly drinking in my usual local watering holes unless anything is suggested.

I expect to have a mild hangover every morning this week, same as last week, and the week before that etc etc!

Have no fear, for I am here!!

Just had a mini-hiatus from the Asia part of the fora, and trying to keep my nose clean after my ban from the Lounge for posting a picture of a Pie and a Key...

Booze ban ends Friday - Day 32 today. Mo is coming along nicely, and FB will be updated acordingly tonight. Some have described me as Orlando Bloom, others as a 'little bit rapey'.
