MSS Sepang 1st- 2nd Oct

OK as discussed on the resturant thread, We are planning a PH meet at Sepang as above, time table is here, http://www.malaysiangp.com.my/story/mss-event-prog... I will be running a car in the two Classic Car races which are 9-45 and 14-35 on Sunday 2nd Oct, So I propose we meet at the pits at say just after 9.30 on Sunday, I should be able to get pit passes, for the three of you from Malaysia (Istoo, Nick and DL) but if not they are 50Rm each, car parking is 5rm.
I'll know which pit we are in on Saturday.
Time the race ends and we pack up will be around 4-30 and we can go into KL for an early beer.

Sounds ace. Nice clear highway run on a Sunday morning too to Sepang. MEX top speed run anyone?

I think it's only fair to warn you that I'll be driving 1.3 litres of purest AWESOME that is the Mighty Myvi...

So be prepared to eat my dust all the way there, because being a rental car it is officially the fastest thing on the roads

Superb morning out. Lots of loud expensive metal and the smell of burning brakes. Thanks a lot Berw for the invite and pass. And for the coffee??? Realised on the way home I forgot all about paying for that! And great to meet you Nick. Congrats to Berw for winning his class, and to Nick on his wedding anniversary (spent with the lads haha).

Was a great day's racing, even if Berw did feel the need to show off my spinning on the last corner and *still* managing to get a class win...

And well done Berw - that's a properly quick and really nicely put together car !! Really impressed with some of the engineering and fabrication that's gone into it.

Will definitely be there for the finale one way or another. And that should *definitely* be an excuse for a cheeky beer afterwards, rather than on the Friday night before qualifying....
