Hi guys - just moved out here on a DP with the wife and family.
Went to the Beerfest a few weeks back and amazed at the turnout but depressed at the beer selection.
Strongbow FFS eek

Are there any car meets etc out here ? See lots of nice cars but no TVRs yet.

LOL was drinking Strongbow last night as a bit of nostalgia headache

no TVR's left on the road here any more, used to be a few Tamsin's and Chims (some bloke made the chims under license in Malaysia at the time)

Getting a Pistonheads meet together in Singapore is like hearding cat's, but the various supercar clubs do organise drive's and the occasional high speed hoon on the north south highway.

anyway, welcome to Singapore wavey

Good to see you last night, John!

What on Earth are they putting in Strongbow, these days?

Rachael got in about 30mins after I fell asleep and started asking me questions about where we had been and I couldn't answer for about 5mins - LOL!

Will have to get a meet sorted at some point, now even more PHers are over...

I thought the beer selection at Beerfest wasn't bad (I'm not a massive beer drinker), certainly had 10 or so different ones in VIP that Friday, or am I imagining that!?

just out of practice at drinking teenage mind bleach hehe have to admit i felt a bit woolly this morning too!!

To OP the mainstream beers are a bit limited here but there are a few ok-ish local breweries,

Brewerkz, Red Dot, Tawandang and Elephant.

The problem is the temperature, as it is so hot here the brewers yeast tends to die rather too fast so they have to use champaign yeast which is more for lagers. Also again, the heat means that it is harder to keep normal atmosphere bitters than pressurized kegs of fizzy.

Its boring and dull but my main staple is to stick to the cans of Tiger, its a surprisingly clean bear these days that i find is relatively hangover free!

Yes - worked that out pretty quickly !
So about 25kGBP for that car. Now if only I can find a lock up in Malaysia I
can visit at weekends for some fun.
Not bad looking car either and condition looks good.
