Sticking lables to Alcantara leather

Does anyone know any tricks to getting lables (from a lable maker) to stick to Alcantara leather?

Alcantara is not a leather it is a fabric not unlike felt.

It will be somewhat reluctant to take a glue unless you get it really impregnated.

You would be better off embroidering the graphics or sewing on a fabric label.

How long do you need them to stick on for ?

The IVA test probably only takes a couple of hours....

It's a track car so really need them to stick!

Maybe little plastic engraved labels and rivet them on, but that gets expensive, I would imagine.

I see - I misunderstood - I thought it was a road car.

Yes - I think small engraved labels and stick them on with contact adhesive - I mean it sticks the
Alcantara well enough to the dash, doesn't it, so I reckon that would work nicely.

Or you could use small pieces of plastic/carbon fibre and then use that "rub-down" lettering that you can buy in WH Smiths or similar... that would be less expensive.

Another good idea.

Use masking tape to outline where you need stick then peel it off with the excess [wet ] glue .

Problem solved, a former work colleague has a engraving machine and can make little labels that can screw or rivit to the dash.
