I learned last night that Graeme died this week. Many may have read his moving story when he sold his partially completed kit earlier this year. He battled with his cancer and finally lost.
I only met him a couple of times when a mutual friend bought his car and can say his attitude to life was inspirational, despite his dire situation he remained positive and just wanted to make the best of what he had.
May I pass my sincere condolences to his family and friends and RIP Graeme

very very sad.
I remember the car up for sale when i was looking for mine. I read the advert and stopped for a while to think, my god that can happen to anyone of us.
I never met or spoke to him, however I too wish his family the best..
Im sure I speak for a few here , but if they need any help or if there is anything we can do to help them through these difficult times I would do what I could to help out ..

A few weeks ago I decided to rent out my house and find a bigger one with a bigger garage etc.
The first one we looked was perfect, its very rare to find a house with a bit of land in Hong Kong.
I met the owner 2 days ago to sign the lease and she'd recently lost her husband to cancer. We got chatting about stuff and I told her of my plans to retire soon and go play with cars.
She was really impessing on me to live life to the fullest. I went to 7 funerals in 2006 and it really changed my perspective, her story and Graeme's are another couple of little reminders.
RIP Graeme and best wishes to his family.
He certainly had an awesome attitude to his situation and we should all really live that way all the time.

I agree with all above!!! its a horrid disease and destroys many lives and families.
Has anyone any ideas how we can use our cars to raise some money for cancer reasearch?? I and a few other Ultima owners went with some Westie owners to a kiddies cancer hospital last year...... the kids sat in the cars and it was great to see them smiling etc.
Im sure if we spoke to a few charities we could do something similiar, maybe give some low speed rides etc. Can Am Dave, Martin and i did a charity day at Donington it was so nice to give something back.

I only met him once but he left a strong impression. We were talking about Dax Rushs and he mentioned his new project was an Ultima. He was kind enough to invite me over to have a look at it last year and he was an absolute gentleman.
He has left long before he should have.

RIP.... I hope he's in a better place now.... Life is way to short and now over 40 I do think of my own mortality once in a while, I never used to.... Crafty your right don't put off till tomorrow what you can do today..... Maybe another reason I left the UK, another 5 years and I probably would have never left...

I remember seeing the advert and his post on here, and I remember thinking at the time how brave he came across and how little fuss was contained in what he said considering the magnitude of what it was effectively saying.Never met him, but based on that those that did must feel themselves lucky.
