Hi Richard
Have owned a silver 2002 GTR for the past 5 yrs, with a small block putting out 520bhp at the flywheel (rolling road confirmation) completed 7000 miles (no track mileage). All the usual refinements, AP brakes, air con & factory carbon wing. Looking at a possible change of direct car wise, is this the sort of car you might be interested in? I'm based in County Durham.

would like one that hasn't seen any track days,
I may be wrong....but didn't LuckyP thrash this car to within an inch of it's life ?

Thanks guys but like I said NO Trackdays !
Everyone to their own, but I have to ask why are you so adement a car without track days?Understand the worry about getting a car that has been thrashed on a track but I dont think that is so much an issue with an Ultima. You certainly dont end up screwing the engine just because its on a track, my big bro used to spend all his time in 4th and 5th Gear whilst on the track but used to pass most of the other cars out there.
In my experience most of the Ultimas get more attention and money spent on them if they plan to track them. they certainly take good care of them!
Cheers
John
Hi Austringer
My girlfriend wants us to buy a new house so the GTR may have to go!! Its 450BHP, 2007 model in red, 2,400 miles only, NEVER been on a track and NEVER been out in the rain. Absolutely pristine condition with all the expected goodies, i.e. AP brakes, Intrax suspension, rear wing, A/C etc.
If you're interested, by all means give me a call on 07967 348152.
Cheers

Keep the car and enjoy it and change girlfriend to one who likes (and appreciates) nice vehicles My girlfriend wants us to buy a new house so the GTR may have to go!! oooohhh dear! - those basic instincts are playing havoc with your life then!
Take it from an OLD cynical hand... The door is closing behind you....The NEST-MAKING syndrome has bitten - hard!
You have just walked bang into the spiders web! The more you struggle now the more you will get stuck!
Many of us do it, despite the very wise warnings from our experienced elders. The trouser sn@ke and chemical hormones imbalance convince us we are doing what is right and proper! Logic, rationality and reasoning go out of the window....
I feel for you... so you say you will build another...naaa ...believe me! There will always be another good reason why you will hear -
'Oh darling, love the car, but don't you think it would be better to have a conservatory or start a family? - you can have your toy back when your 80!'
Commiserations!

Seen-it, dunnit, got the tee-shirt - now on a mission to warn others! Not that it does any good!

You old cynic V8! I guess the real question is if the car goes, can I ever replace it with one as good? Answer, probably yes but it'll cost me. But if the woman goes, can I ever replace her with one just as good? Answer, definately not!! Makes the choice fairly easy (but it'll still hurt loads if I let the GTR go!).
