Don't worry too much he died over 2000 years ago, so probably won't be too bothered. Besides which he learnt to turn the other cheek, so definitely won't be bothered about you using his name when referring to a V12 Ultima. Actually, on second thoughts, didn't he rise again on Easter Sunday? Or was that just a fabrication to satisfy the Pagan masses. Doesn't seem important now.

unlikelly as the BMW v12 is as compact as the SBC so fits an ultima easily even with air con pumps etc.

so this engine is 300hp stock, cannot imagine that you bring it easily to the 560hp of a stock ls7, so apart from the fantastic work the only thing that you obviously gain is having an unique combination.

well its not comparable to ls7 in money either as I bought an entire engine for 10 quid.... 560bhp is about the max NA though and will cost more than an LS7 for sure.... It's cheap power if you turbocharge them though as they produce over 600bhp completely stock and you could do this with a recon engine for well under 10k.

With the throttle bodies etc on this one it must be between 4-500bhp tho

I'd agree tho if you want a really powerful ultima you'd have to have good reason not to pick the ls7... It's also got loads of scope for even more later... And I've clearly got a soft spot for the v12 as I'm using one in my car, with a pair of turbos of cause :-)
