If a picture currently exists on a website and you wish to repost it on the forum you need to know its address. You can find that out by right clicking on the image you need and select 'Copy_Image_location' (Firefox) or a similar option using internet explorer (copy link ). My version of Internet explorer doesn't have that option but I can still find it by right clicking on the picture and by selecting 'properties' it will show the image location. I can then highlight the link by left click dragging and while still blue select copy. Then its just a matter of pasting the link into the forum text box in between the 2 commands that it needs to recognise it as a picture which are [pic]then the web address of your file[/pic]
so it should look like this:
(green to highlight only)

So the above command if typed and submitted would show this:

If the file is on your PC then you would need to join one of the image hosting sites available, like photobucket.com for example. Once you have joined and uploaded your files then they will be viewable on the net, just treat the images exactly as described above and post the link into the text panel along with the [pic] [/pic] commands and your done

Hope that helps and doesnt sound too complicated

Edited to add: make sure the 'pic' commands are butted up to the web image address .ie. no spaces

1) Go to Photobucket.com

2) Upload your photos in accordance to their very easy instructions.

3) Open a new Pistonhead window and find the existing thread or start a new one.

4) Once you've save a photo on PB, cut the 'direct link' in the second 'box' down below the pic in your 'album'

5) go back to your PH post and then drop your cut 'direct link' DIRECTLY between the typed:

[pic] ..... and then ......[/pic] with NO spaces.

6) Press 'Preview' to ensure you've limited your 'looking like a TIT' factor.

7) When happy, press Submit!

8) That is all....smile
