"With 1,600 horsepower on tap, the Maxximus G-Force has shattered a host of sprint records for road-legal cars. As well as the headline 0-60mph figure, it will accelerate from 0-100mph in 4.541 seconds"

If it looks like a Duck, it quacks like a duck, then it must be a ...

Maxximus G-Force???

What a load of crap. What records? The ones they refer to are production car records. The fastest street legal car in Britain would destroy that (RedVictor on here?), same with the fastest street legal car in the US.

Couldn't help biting smile

Is it legal to take Ultima's car and modify it then say it's their own design? Why don't they take a Ferrari Enzo, swap out the engine and replace it with theirs and call it their own design? If I were Ultima Sports, I would take legal actions.

^ That was my thought as well. They must know about this. It would also be costly to have a legal battle in the US and somebody must have supplied the chassis.

Any pics of the engine and is it an ls? Whatever it is it won't make 1600 hp for very long as compression will be to high. That's just a dyno figure for a nanosecond/dyno queen. IMO smile

it looks like the engine Nelson Racing where building for an ultima. however from the shots i have seen off the 'Ultima with a 1600nbhp engine built by someone else'...sorry i mean G-force, you cant see the rocker covers where nelson usually have their name.

here is a link to hte Nelson build. its a 427 SBC with all the goodies (inc. ally block). http://www.nelsonracingengines.com/pix-rides-ultim...

Cheers

Chris.
