With a week to go until the kit lands, and I lose the overtime I need to buy this thing by building it, I'm collecting various parts.
Has anyone used the DD2 DigiDash from ETB? I've read from post 254 to 119, and I can't see anyone using it.
It seems to have all the information on it, and be SVA compliant, but it does seem a little small.

I have a DigiDash, it's the Pro version, It has all the functions of a Stack and a few more now GPS scamera sites. .) Fully SVA (IVA) compliant. The guy at ETB has been very helpful.I have had a few modifications done to mine as the fuel gauge couldn't handle the odd shaped tanks and the fuel pump pressure gauge was lowered for carb application.
did not know about this one, maybe I wait a little longer how many more will appear on the surface.
It has a real time clock and considering it comes with all the sensors is quite cheaper compared to the DASH 2.
Also it should not be forgotten that the DASH 2 requires four buttons to be installed to operate the dash.
In case of this DIGIDASH that is not necessary and an advantage I must comment.
I must say this is a real alternative and I wonder how well that large LCD works of the DAHS 2 works if there is
bright sunlight on it. Maybe someone owning a DASH 2 can comment on this.

I can't say that I've had aproblem in bright sunlight but then I use the big red LED display for speed and the alarms are all set on the major functions of the LCD, which if you have a problem will flash up in the big red LED display.
The A and B buttons are the menu buttons for the two screens, they do look a bit unsightly, but this dash was developed for steering wheel mounting and for quick and easy access (thumbs!) I have four buttons on my dashboard that cover these two buttons and more.

so you did not go for an ultrasmall wheel, looks to me
that the ratio of the stacks are fitting well with this size of wheels, any down aspects
on these ford stacks or are you happy with them ? The stubby ones look a bit odd to me and
are maybe not so easy to operate as the more common design of the ones you have used ?

The wheel size is a good compromise (Ultima supplied) the only problem with the stalks is wiring them up. . . I'm not that good with electrics (can do the basic stuff) these were a stalk too far for me, so got in an auto electrian who took a day to sort them out. Couldn't work out the delay wipe, so I got a 'SmartScreen' relay to do that operation, but everything else works. I drilled and blind tapped a bolt into the steering column to cancel the indicators, and at the moment the horn is operated by a remote fob.

nice dash Graham, copied or designed from scratch?? how easy was it to install??thanks dom
It's a while since I went through what is now known as "the dash choosing month" but from recollection I chose the Race Technology dash over others because it had the CAN capability which means it shares sensors with the ECU and hopefully this means, simpler and easier wiring. It should also be able to display any ECU information on screen. There are a number of analogue inputs outside of the ECU CAN interface too so I can connect sensors that aren't common with the ECU if required (goodness knows what these might be!). It also has an optional data logging system, the DL1 and Race Technology have a very active user forum on their website, their approach to product and development seems to be very open and community driven. I was a little worried that some other dash companies didn't have the depth of support although I don't know if that's the case with ETB.
The dash is quite thin, only 12mm or so, with only two rear conections it makes installation easy. Worth having a look at their software demo and videos too.
Race Technology also quite local to me, which for some reason helped in the decision making!
For those who want more colour, well, the dash has a few coloured LEDs around the edges!
