Happy New Year all. In a split second of zero concentration the other day I rubbed both near side wheels against a curb. I just got a quote from the factory for split rim replacements and thats pretty much a non starter for 2 wheels for me. The damage is fairly light, so I was wondering if anyone else here has had a similar experience and whether they found a decent repair outfit (factory standard OZ's) ?

Hi Andy

Happy New Year! Not heard much from you for a while. I changed an outer rim not long ago and it's an easy enough DIY job if you just buy the outer rims and the 'O' rings from the factory. It's just time consuming undoing all the bolts. The rims were just over a £100 each.

Regards Dave

Hi Dave - long time no speak. Hope all is well with you and your latest Can-am inventions.

It's not the DIY job that's the problem it's the cost - I was quoted £245 +VAT each making factory rim replacements too expensive for me to consider.
