Sounds quiet and "mellow" but unfortunately not quite as quiet as it sounds!!

99db at 4400rpm and I'm quessing about 102 at the 5250rpm needed for a proper sound test.

Add-on silencers still going to have to be made for Goodwood etc.

The LS 7 is miles quieter because the dreaded SBC Anvil Chorus isn't clanking its merry tune .......

Hi Stuart, how does performance compare with the SBC?

Howdy Gary,

Difficult to compare the two as they are so different. Start it up, drive it away, just like a proper car - gasp...... All the "colourful" SBC traits have vanished biggrinbiggrinbiggrin Definitely lives up to its reputation, smooth,smooth,smooth.........but with shed-loads of power - awesome.

The motor has only done a couple of hundred miles and I'm determined to treat it with maximum possible respect until it's broken in. This is going to be one well cared for engine!
