HI,
I have been looking through past topics for info on where I can get SBC gaskets and other consumables, without success, I am looking to buy, among other things, an SBC engine lift plate.
Can one of you nice people out there put me out of my misery.

^ Agreed and they have an exceptionally good despatch department. Most things arrive next day even if the order was placed late the day before.

I was advised not to use an engine lift plate with an alloy intake manifold as there was a chance of the bolts pulling. . . . not sure if this was right but I bought a load leveller from Machine Mart instead.

Agreed.
I don't like the lift plates either.
I also use a load leveller but made my own from an old car jack.

Hi guy's , I have heard this topic before, but having picked up the ex GTR-GAZ engine from Gardner Douglas on Friday where they use them all the time, I have to say that I think the 'jury is out' on this one at the moment...time will tell!!!
David

p.s. thanks for the Real Steel info.
